Re: What did you do to your truck today?

I sanded some of the rust off of my roof and then spread a little filler and got it sanded back down.

Re: What did you do to your truck today?

I installed the new voltage regulator and ran a ground wire from the ground post on the new alternator.

The biggest aggravation were getting the nuts onto the 3 bolts that hold the v. reg. to the radiator support.

yeesh!

it is running and charging again tho', so yay!

Re: What did you do to your truck today?

I moved my truck out of the garage yesterday to work on my buddies Honda, then moved it back in today. I took a pic because I thought it looked cool. I had to have him sit in the engine bay and put gas in the carb out of a bottle because my fuel pump went out.

Re: What did you do to your truck today?

Cut the exhaust off of my truck right off the manifold, de-rusted and painted the headers, got that little 6 running a bit better. More to come tomorrow.

Made templates & started fabbing my new rear upper shock mounts. I needed 17" overall length @ ride height & was shooting for 60° angle. I think my number crunching worked . . ....

Re: What did you do to your truck today?

We did some rearranging...to make room for more trucks inside the fence, we had a 40' container delivered and set, to put sheetmetal items out of the weather.

Re: What did you do to your truck today?

Well i looked at my frame again, it's not doing any tricks like I thought. I got my rebuild kit in for my Demon, it cost me free dollars.

The 750 is for sell $250, never had gas in it. only set on the intake!

Gage it's not easy for older guys to stand on there heads an do wiring under the dash. I'm ok if I take my time and I've taken my blood pressure pills.I'm speaking of myself only.---Vernski

Re: What did you do to your truck today?

Today I started the day off working on my poly bushing sleves. I made them out of solid stock because I couldn't find any tube and I'm that cheap!! Then I built a new cross member because I wasn't happy with the way my old one was fitting and we screwed up some how and it ended up being way too high. I forgot to compensate for the 4'' tubing that it would be notched into. Anyways I built a new one out of 2x3 tubing and welded that up and removed the temporary support for up front. I also made some bag mounts. Next week I'll make my lower bag mounts and start setting up my links. Anyways pics!
