There has been a name change from last time I posted. From Shirley (my wife said when I looked at the truck, "Surely we don't need another truck." To "The Silver Toothed Redheaded Headed Stepchild". Due to the attitude, freckles & shear stubbornness while installing the new motor, power steering, manicure, pedicure and bikini wax.

My wife hates the name, but I call mine "The Wheeled Assassin". When I brought my truck home my wife got bit by a wheel assassin bug (search Google images). Couple day later I was working on it I found another one. Name seemed fitting to me, but my wife didn't like it.
My wife calls it "Hooptie" but I'm not sure if a truck can qualify as a hooptie.

Well most of the names I can't say here. But when talking to the misses it's "the chevy". I own three trucks all different makes. Even more confusion when talking about trailers I have 7.

The Drunkard! Well I can't call her that anymore. She used to drink like a fish and wander all over the road.
I just today pulled the original upper ball joints after 378,000 miles. I will tell what, those guys at GM knew what they were doing when they put those rivets in that's for sure. After tomorrow she will just drink like a fish! |

Or as I say to others, The Jimmy named Jimmy. Was going to name my Jimmy a women's name, but my son in law informed me that trucks, especially 4WD ones get men's names. He has had his 1998 Silverado now for 15 years, so I listened to his advice. He got it when he turned 16. When I explained to him that both of our trucks were c/k trucks, Gen 2 and Gen 4, he really liked that connection. |

I don't have a pic handy but my 67 c10 orange with a white top is "fast orange" not really after the hand cleaner but more due to that being the total opposite with a stock 283 and a powergilde!

My last name is Million. When I bought my truck the PO had purchased it for his daughter's first vehicle. See picture. Well the 15 year old girl named her Milli. Which is now Milli Million. Thought it was perfect!
I am just excited as she was 11 years ago. Promised I would keep it looking just as good. She grew out of it, as if that is possible. Wanted AC I guess. So now I'm getting it back together, and soon I'll give Milli the AC she deserves! Hope the grown up little girl doesn't want her back !!!

My 72 C10 has earned the name "Charlie" by my wife, the kids even call him that. And my '06 2500 white crew cab diesel is named "Walter" or "Walter White".
