Well heres the deal. all I need off the tank is the filler neck not the tank. I tried to post a pic of what I need on another reply but I was unable to do it. I posted to the Blazer thread of the part though. I just need the neck on the tank. Would you take $30 for it ?

I'm pretty sure this tank was off a blazer, I have my blazer tank at work, I will compare them before I cut to make sure. I won't be back to work till Tues though. Thanks Randy

Gas cap does not fit, are there different styles? it seems i need one with a larger diameter mouth,

My fault i needed Custom/20 emblem not the 8 400 that i asked for, do you have any of these?

Dukkie, there are a couple different styles of gas caps. I was thinking that one should work. Does it have the long mount on it? I'll look out there Mon and see if I have another good cap. What year is your truck? Also I should have a custom/20 out there. Will check tomorrow. Thanks Randy

My recent research says 67-68, 70, 71-72 each have different style gas caps with different filler neck styles, sizes, and vented or non vented. And possibly even so far as different c10 from c20.
I have a 72 c20, I know nothing about the gas caps so I made you a visual aid. but it looks like you sent a long mount the lower two fit into the filler neck but the upper two do not catch the locking guides and there is 1/4-1/2 inch diameter differences between gas cap and filler neck sides

You don't happen to have a Blazer hatch handle mechanism do you.

yes I do, even has a working key and lock but the handle is pitted

My handle is ok but I'm looking for the guts inside the hatch itself but will take it all if thats how your selling it.

no just the part in the lower center inside the hatch. The handle attaches to it. I'll try and send a pic if you need it
