OK, I put the hood...now get off my back will ya !!
-
-
Actually, I only did it because we are remodeling the shop (previous owner permit violations) so I needed a place to store it...so, what better place than back on the truck !! (just laying there, no hinges yet)
-
-
I have to be honest, I am not used to have'n a hood on it....at all.

I was just about to say, "Come on, put the hood on..." and then I saw that you did. I think it looks so much nicer with a hood. The truck looks complete with it on. Plus, it keeps your engine bay unexposed to all kinds of crap. If you wanted to show off the engine, just flip the hood...

Love the truck!

John,
Glad you told us that's where you stored your cars instead of where you worked on them. I was like dude's shop is cleaner than my house. How's your wife's ride coming along? is she riding yet?

Re: Project "Rock-a-Billy".....Saga Continues.....

Well my shop isn't too bad either.....Everything is put on hold right now.....we had to knock down a wall (that wasn't supposed to be there)...and a bunch of other $hit that was wrong with the building (frickin permit laws)
-
-
Here is a current shot of the shop....everything was moved over to knock down walls. Here's a shot of my shop area on the left, and the wall we knocked down yesterday on the right:
-
-

-
This was was seperating unusable office space (previous owners, unpermited) from the rest of the wherehouse:
-

-
Now, a 2 hour FIREWALL must be build from the floor all the way up to be legal and satisfy the "man":
-

-
That will be moved 6 feet over, inline with those support beams....kinda like this:
-

-
-
Sucks, because it is so nice open like this.

John,
I run a warehouse here in Memphis and use pallet rack in a bunch of areas.
it comes in a bunch of different heights and widths. maybe you guys could run a couple of sections down the wall. it would give you 2 rows of storage and you could hang light fixtures on the bottom and have work areas. here is a pick area in the back of my warehouse.
Just an idea.
David.

Chief, I got my clear lenses thru LMC.

They had clear rear lights with LED's, but discontinued them before I could get my hands on them.

So does Chief sound like his nose is stopped up now that the hood is on? You know, one good sneeze and the hood will be GONE! Hmm where have I seen that before?

Seriously, good looking truck.

I know what you mean about stupid oil leaks that should not have happened. All that cleaning wasted. Irritating.

Probably would loose the hood...considering it's just laying there with no hinges !!
-
-
Leaks suck...took care of that with a one-piece seal and a new USA Moroso stock pan.

The only leak I have now is just the stock 3-speed, drips after being driven.

Not adding oil to it...mabey it'll blow soon, and that'll give me an excuse to throw in the 700R4 !

I know what you mean...

Actually, after I bid on them...I wasn't sure they were for the right year...but I checked and I was relieved.

The add listed 60-66...but these are the early ones.
