Re: slammed 57
Getting the ride height dialed in, ,rear axle housing shortened and waiting on the new axles to arrive.

Cool project! I'm a sucker for black cars/trucks. (All of my cars are black).

Re: slammed 57
I like the new project. More of a daily driver? I plan on doing something similar with a square body for my next one. Looks to be a great truck to start.

Re: slammed 57
Nice job! That cut and buff came out really nice. The appearance of depth in the paint is amazing. I plan on doing the same.

Re: slammed 57
Working on the inside of the cab now, spent the last 3 days wet sanding and polishing. My shoulders are about shot… but finally finished… Whewww. Now onto the dash and back wall of cab.

Re: slammed 57
Just take your time and work through the grits and put 5-6 coats of clear to give you enough material to work with.. If i can do it , you definitely can

Re: slammed 57
Thank You for the encouragement. I typically put 5 coats of clear on my stuff. It will be a decent truck when done and fun to drive. Steve

Re: slammed 57
Y'all this color sanding, buffing and polishing is a ton of work, But OHHHH the end result is SOOOOO rewarding. You can really see the clarity and the reflection in the firewall. Little early to start putting any kind of trim on, but I was kind of anxious to see how it would look on the dash.

Re: slammed 57
WOW, the shine. Straight mirror finish. You’ve done an excellent job on all the bodywork. It’s going to be blinding in the sun. Only hope mine turns out as nice. Keep the pictures coming!
