Re: Project: "just a little rust repair, turned LS2 swap"

Well we're fitting the body back up on the chassis, the cab is mostly mudded up. We're going to get the doors, fenders, hood and everything set exactly where they need to be and make sure everything is lined up just right before we mud them.

Thanks! and I'm strongly leaning towards the BMW brown at this point, if I go that way still can't make my mind up on chassis color and interior though.

Yeah there is a lot to see and do out here makes it tough to work on my Blazer when its is so easy to just jump on the bike and go for ride

Have you thought about silver for the frame or a lighter colored frame, if you go with the brown I think they would compliment each other very well.

Thats understandable! But yes a light colored frame is the way I want to go so that way it is a little more visible and the lines and curves stand out on it when we pop the bed floor and hood.

Don't neglect the cream. Complimentary, but maybe a little too classy or street-rod-ish?

I know that crossed my mind the other day, I think it would look good with that color on the roof but I think you're right on the classy/ street rod it will be pushing that a little. I love the way these trucks look with the factory colors and white roofs. I just think tying that back in with a different color brown and a cream roof will give it a little bit of a vintage feel.

Re: Project: "just a little rust repair, turned LS2 swap"

May have been mentioned already but a light color on the frame, maybe the same as the cab top or interior color, would look IMO. The lines and curves of the frame will be lost with a dark color, then maybe color match the engine to the darker color for contrast.

I agree there! I think that any dark color on the frame will hide all of the lines. I need to find just the right color to pull everything together.
