There sure aint nothin hillbilly 'bout that truck, or the person that orchestrated the fine job of rebuilding it!
What a sweet ride!

X2 nothing Hillbilly about that truck...more like a mountain man's Rolls Royce

all this Hillbilly talk got me to thinking about these songs:

as for Flips, I gotta admit from listening to that video, I think he's got a Hillbilly bone

and I think many of us good ole Southern boys' 60-66 trucks could relate to this:

Love the color choice, the American Racing wheels are my all time favorite, and the thread here. I appreciate your effort.

But what I really want to say is.....when you pull out of the driveway, and hit it just a little, don't you feel 20 years younger!

Thanks for sharing Flip.
thanks strokerpop, the torque thrust wheels are hard to beat, they have always been my favorite, and yes its like a fountain of youth, but come to think of it, it did cause a few gray hairs as well

Betty is resting comfortably in my dad's shop...unfortunately, she's probably been depressed for a long time...this November will be 2 years since she was last on the road...hopefully she'll perk up & not let me down once she's roadworthy again...my dad is slowly making progress on her...hopefully things will speed up this fall/winter when he's not so preoccupied with other stuff

Re: my 65 fleetside build

finally installed the hood with the help of my son, my new wheels came in so we mounted the drag radials and put 235/70s on the front, wish i had went with 275/60s but its too late now, didnt get to go to the track friday but we might be going to steele ala. this weekend and try the 1/4 mile out. you can see i dont have the marker lights in when we took the pics but they are now, seat belts are in and installed the double springs on the carb, should be legal now lol.
