Sounds like a load to me...sounds like they're not interested in your work and wanted to just throw a valve in there that would work. Is there another shop you could take it to? I'd be concerned...

As far as electrical work, you basically just need power to the MSD box.

I had to cut my brand new exhaust off so the fuel cell would fit

at least it was only the last few feet from the axle back. I needed 27 inches of room and the pipes were 20 inches apart =[ I don't think I will run it out the back again, cuz I don't like the way the tips look when they are far apart on the bumper. I will either dump it or run it out in front of the rear tires.

So I ground out the rivets and busted out that little weeny cross member to make way for the fuel cell, also had to hack my new exhaust, as previously stated. I now have turn downs right at the axle

I like the look of the pipes coming out somewhere so I will have to get some on there eventually. I spent most of the day with my buddy trying to install the fuel cell. The holes don't line up perfectly so I have to go back to the drawing board grrr....... measure 4 times and cut once. We rented a little welder from Home Depot and welded the six bolts to the frame so they wouldn't move while we tried to get the tank in position. It was an interesting day but in the end we still didn't get the tank installed.... Blahhhh

That sucks you had to cut off your pipes. I have a blazer tank and I ran mine right outside of the frame rails.

You just need to get creative with some bent pipe! I'd get it all welded back up before I put fuel in the tank

Sorry you had to hack 'em....I got lucky and mine fit fine with the blazer tank. Course I had the spare in there at that time so he had to go around it.
