got some old school centerlines on it so now it's back to being a roller. they really don't do much for it, but at least all 4 wheels are the same...

I haven't worked on the truck that much lately so yesterday I shortened up the steering column to make some room in the cab and for a better working angle for the steering shaft and u-joints.. going to order a few things from PB fab soon to get the rear suspension finished.

not a lot goin on but I fab'd up a plate to mount the ididit steering column mount, and started to run front brake lines.

So during the holidays we were out checking my brothers trapline and he told us about this old truck cab sitting in the bush just off the main road, so we stopped to check it out.... on the doors you could just barely see some writing, so I pulled the drivers door off since it was the best one and brought it home. I got out the CLR and started rubbing on the door and gave it a light scuff with some 1000g grit paper to remove the rust and crap, and the colours started to pop out. I got it cleaned up pretty good and after 8 coats of clear, a ton of wet sanding and polishing, it's now sitting in my living room....

I took my truck completely apart about 15 months ago. Its still in a million pieces. In about the same amount of time, you have tore a truck apart ,fixed it, modified it, and painted it, and almost have it all the way back together. Its kind of depressing! Enjoyed reading this, and love your new door!

Ordered some stuff from Porter Built today...got a watts link and bridge assembly comin, so I can finish up the rear suspension, and then I'll just need bags and shocks.
