Re: pictures of shortbox stepsides
Congrats on finding such a nice truck. I live in Cincy and wish I would have seen that for sale.

1971Stepside - I'd get drool on that thing from 20 feet away. Beyond nice.
Mine is still a major work in progress.

Re: pictures of shortbox stepsides
Here are some photos of my teenage truck I never should have parted with. It was actually a 1970 CST the PO had put the 71/72 grill and hood on. The tail lights are from a 1970 Kingwood station wagon.
I'd like to have a bumper like this one for my 67. It was only as wide as the bed box but old school square and chrome. Got more comments on that and the tail lights. This was my first disc brake conversion. Pulled the front end out of a 71 back in about 1990 and put in it.

Re: pictures of shortbox stepsides
Oh yea, that's probably why I didn't see my truck in this thread.
![]() Just to remind you guys, I have two amplifiers under my bucket seats for my killer stereo system, so I used all that real estate in the engine compartment to add two tool boxes for tools and fluids. Very cool! ![]() Try that with a new truck. ![]() ![]() ![]() |
