Hey Jmorales3181,

Great work and good looking truck. I was curious.. your front end... It sits pretty low. Are you still using the stock arms etc?? trying to gauge hoe low my truck will sit when I do mine.

Isn't it a total PITA to paint the inside??? LOL!
Thanks man I appreciate it! It isn't too bad except I'm painting it in my one car garage at home and not the most room or ventilation lol. But making it happen!

Thanks Bomp!! She is going to love it! I can see it already, cruising down the road with my little one in the middle and my girl in the passenger
Seat going to all the local shows. I almost want to tow it down to one before it starts and park it just to see how many looks it gets can't wait to drive it!

I personally love spraying it. I have been using the waterborne paint for 2 yrs and have learned a lot using it... I am kinda a perfectionist and like my prep work on point. Not as forgiving as solvent paints where you can hid mistakes a little easier. You can fix mistakes with this but it's a pain in the a$$. Here is a link for some info on it.

Re: project bagged 63 c10

So it's been a while since I have posted on here. I was getting a little carried away working on the truck....it happens and decided to enjoy some of the rest of world too...like my little family and friends. Been going to tons of local cars shows after work with my little one after work. And went to a nice chevy show this weekend. I've been enjoying the summer so far hope the rest of you are too! Been a tail light tinting machine as well all my friends want em done now

Re: project bagged 63 c10

Id like to give a shoot out to all you home builders that got me into my build. my build is dedicated to all of you and to show that you dont need fancy equipment to get a halfway decent looking truckI also managed to sneak a little of truck fun in the mix too. Finally finished smoothing dash out...awaiting final priming...figured I'd finish all the paint work on the roof area so I can mask it up and just focus on the dash area... Sprayed the blue and had some silver stripe tape laying around and threw some on it to see how it looks and am really happy with the results. What do you think?

And some custom headlights and taillights I've been doing

And a couple of cool paint pics I took

Top pic is the reflection in the door in pic below

Re: project bagged 63 c10

Need some truck pics on this page.

So I brought my guns home so I could tackle the dash this weekend...but didn't make it as far as I would have liked. Final primed the dash thurs... Last time I swear... I'm super picky and somehow there was still something I didn't like and fixed it and reprimed it a couple times, then today I Sanded it all nice and smooth, cleaned and blew my whole garage out to get ready to paint. Just needed to wrap it in fresh plastic was jamming out and then my little girl spiked I high temp so I called it a day to care for my princess. Please keep her in your prayers for me.... She's my first child so I get a little nervous when she gets sick.
