Re: Lets see your truck!

My parents purchased this GMC new in 1970. When it was my Dads he had a 10 1/2 foot camper on it.

Here is how this truck looked like in the 70s.

Cool to see a truck on spokes. You don't see that too often. Reminds me of the fun times in my brother's 88 Buick Regal with chrome Dayton's.

Re: Lets see your truck!

My wife has always wanted a C10 since she saw one at the local Good Guys show many years ago. Had a great opportunity to pick up this 69 long bed in August and we plan to work on it as a project together. Already got the front and rear disc conversion as our first step in a looooong process. Hope to install these in the next month. Changing the bolt pattern with the kit and got a great deal on some stock Camaro wheels to use as rollers until we can decide on suspension and wheels.

Get out and drive the truck this summer and have some fun!
It sucks not being able to hear!

LWB trucks rule, if you don't think so measure your SWB!
After talking to tech support at Air Lift I have found out that the kit I need is 60811. Per the measurements I gave them. Ride height of truck inside spring and inside diameter of springs.

Hey I see you unloaded the wood. Next you'll be dropping the engine/tranny down in there. Good deal.

Nice summit. We're riding Sicamous in 2 weeks. Ski's up, miss the land mines.

Here's my cousin's C10 with his new (used) Expert.

Re: Lets see your truck!

My two current projects. My 67 on the right and my father in laws 91 4x4 on the left. The 91 will be a short project. Total front brake rebuild, sway bar bushings replaced, and a few other small items.

Then, back to finishing up the disc brake swap on the 67 and turn to tires/wheels, carb, and distributor.
