Re: 67 cheby's Dropmember build thread
heres my driveline finally, set at a 5 inch ride height, made an aluminum 1.5 inch spacer block for the CPP carrier bearing, the rear shaft of the driveshaft is the CPP shaft with a 3 inch slip joint, i am going to cut off the hoop on the top of the crossmember and raise it 1 inch , hopefully that wont get into the bottom of my cab !! then i am going to cut off the trailing arm mounts and weld this crossmember into the frame

Re: 67 cheby's Dropmember build thread
Looking at your truck , (and many others on this board) sometimes makes me wish I would have taken my truck in a different direction.

Re: 67 cheby's Dropmember build thread
there are some ridges that run up and down and are about 1 1/2 inches wide on either side of the radiator , you have to flatten out the last couple inches of those

It's in the works, just don't know when ...yet. My wifes nursing school is getting expensive. You spilled the beans The only details and plans are sometime this fall picking up another 67-72 SWB truck, or better yet what I'd really like is a 67-72 blazer, but we'll see.
