Thanks man I appreciate it haven't had much time to work on either has been building my wife's truck as a suprise for her birthday March 10th but now that it is over I can get back on stretch! Here's a pic of hers just for the shots and giggles

Well the fuel pump went out on Stretch just from sitting I'm sure, I found this a good time to go ahead and fix a few things. When I installed the drivetrain the bed was only setup for a single gas tank so I only installed the correct psi fuel pump in the drivers tank leaving the passenger alone stock for the tbi and planning on eventually removing the tank. Well when I was in the process of doing the body and paint work I thought to myself it sure would be a good time to add the gas door on the passenger side so I can use both tanks for long distance driving. Well almost three years later after I accidentally filled the wrong tank up with gas(the passenger side) I decided if I'm going to replace one I'm going to replace both.

There had always been a slight dent in the bottom of the gas tank where it looks like the previous owner tried jacking up the truck by the tank that always bugged me so I went ahead and purchased a new tank and sending unit for the driver side as well as pumps for both tanks. Now up to date both tanks and pumps are back in the truck and working as they should so while the bed was off I figured it would be a good time to install my Sir Michaels hidden hitch that I purchased. First off I found out that my exhaust was run right in the way of where I needed the hitch to bolt so as much as it sickened me I had to cut the tail pipes partially off. Now with the pipes out of the way well...it doesn't fit, doesn't even come close to fitting. Anyone else had this problem before? The mounting brackets hit everything they possibly could and the hitch is about 4inches away from the back of the license plate. Am I missing something? Or is this just wrong hitch all together?
