Haha it wasn't my work. I helped design it but Ickler hooked up the fab work on it. He said he would consider making a few more if the price is right.

Go right ahead, it's pretty basic but it's lighter, stronger, and looks ten times better then the stock tray.

He would, go ahead and PM me your phone number and I'll try and hook you up.

I'll send you a PM and see if I can help you out. Just so the forum admins know, I am not producing these myself. A friend of mine owns a machine shop and would make all of the profit on making these.

Thanks for the nice comments. I just committed to the Hot Rod Power Tour June 1st and I'm gonna try my hardest to take this thing so we'll see what happens.

I just finished the electrical but I just had to pay bills without working for an entire month so my savings is running a little low. Before I go back I should have it running, wheels here, tires mounted, and rearend housing ordered. That's where I think I can get it to before heading back

Re: 72 Cheyenne Super Plain Jane

Been messing with the wiring the past few days. Got most of it lined out, just need a couple of pigtails and the I'll be done with that. Also considering using LED lights in the dash to brighten it up a bit, you can get them fairly cheap on ebay. Anyway, here are the pics. Just have a few more things to do and then I can start it, should be running and tuned by the end of the week. Also wheels are still at Intro, should be here by the end of the week fingers crossed.

Re: 72 Cheyenne Super Plain Jane

Forgot to mention, Dad and I have committed to the 2013 Hot Rod Power Tour and I am planning on taking this girl. We are gonna long haul from Arlington, TX to Charlotte, NC. I won't have her 100% where I want her but it'll be close. My plans to make it to the tour are finish paint and body, make everything functional and look good. Things I won't have finished before the tour are side trim, bed floor raise, tubular control arms, and bags on the front. But those are all things that I can add later.

Re: 72 Cheyenne Super Plain Jane

Yea I fired it today but not for long. I need about 6 quarts of ATF and then I can let her run and dial the timing and what not. I had some issues with the distributer but I got everything worked out. The only thing I need to fix is I had the wire to the HEI run to the fuse box but none of the plugs gave full power in crank mode so I'm gonna have to tap into the ignition switch. I'll post a video up before I go back to school on Friday but I have to warn, it is VERY loud without exhaust

Thank you, it was weird to hear it run considering it had been a couple of years since I tore everything apart. One step closer to having her on the road
