Re: Project: "just a little rust repair, turned LS2 swap"
Well we're fitting the body back up on the chassis, the cab is mostly mudded up. We're going to get the doors, fenders, hood and everything set exactly where they need to be and make sure everything is lined up just right before we mud them.

Thanks! I just saw you were from Denver, I was in Colorado Springs last weekend to visit some friends. That was the first time I had been out there and there is some awesome scenery out there! But yes I like the BMW brown as well

Thanks man! it's coming along, I've just got a ton of work to get done. I think the paint and body is going to be done before I have everything ready.

Re: Project: "just a little rust repair, turned LS2 swap"
Thanks! and I'm strongly leaning towards the BMW brown at this point, if I go that way still can't make my mind up on chassis color and interior though.

Have you thought about silver for the frame or a lighter colored frame, if you go with the brown I think they would compliment each other very well. |

Re: Project: "just a little rust repair, turned LS2 swap"
Don't neglect the cream. Complimentary, but maybe a little too classy or street-rod-ish?

Re: Project: "just a little rust repair, turned LS2 swap"
I know that crossed my mind the other day, I think it would look good with that color on the roof but I think you're right on the classy/ street rod it will be pushing that a little. I love the way these trucks look with the factory colors and white roofs. I just think tying that back in with a different color brown and a cream roof will give it a little bit of a vintage feel.

Re: Project: "just a little rust repair, turned LS2 swap"
May have been mentioned already but a light color on the frame, maybe the same as the cab top or interior color, would look IMO. The lines and curves of the frame will be lost with a dark color, then maybe color match the engine to the darker color for contrast.
