Re: Newbie with a 65 Chevy
I had a little time in the shop this morning. I installed side trim on my fender from LMC and it was very thin and flimsy. Not real happy with it. But what do you do? I have been waiting on replacement door trim that came shipped with a dent in it.

Re: Newbie with a 65 Chevy
Had a little set back. Don't really know what to do yet but it looks like my seam sealer has shrunk and wrinkled the paint. It has not flaked off but I am afraid it will.

Re: Newbie with a 65 Chevy
Thanks guys. I need the encouragement. It takes a lot of motivation to go to the shop in this heat. Especially when you got a million other things to do. I painted the back side of the passenger door this morning. Maybe next week I can paint the other side and fender.

Re: Newbie with a 65 Chevy
Well I decided to paint yesterday evening. This was my first time to paint in the evening in a while. I forgot how bad the bugs were.

Re: Newbie with a 65 Chevy
It turned out pretty good. It laid down real smooth but the bugs decided to go for a swim. Maybe I can buff some of it out.

Re: Newbie with a 65 Chevy
Bugs in Arkansas??? Say it ain't so... Had my ex's Brother-in-Law visit from Montana back in July 2001, and his statement about Arkansas was "This is Hell with Bugs!"
Lookin' good Brother!

The Bugs didn't look to bad after all. I decided to mount the door and fender tonight after work.
