That is sweet! But you can't just leave us like that, you have to tell us more about it and make a build thread if you took enough pictures while building it.

Re: How about some pics of 73-91 crew cabs
It has a 6 inch, 225/70/19.5 tires wich are around 33s. I have not modded the engine yet, thinking about it. Gunna have to upgrade the tranny before turning up the power.

Re: How about some pics of 73-91 crew cabs
It will cear the pan with a 4 inch, the 400 is not the best option for these engines. They only turn 2800 rpms wich will have it wound tight at 60 unless you run 3.08 gears

Re: How about some pics of 73-91 crew cabs
omg here I am again. still on the fence over what to do about tires. I have 235/85/16 weenie tires, can't find anything taller that's skinny enough to run on a dually rim. I see other people putting some ridiculously wide tires on dually rims, but IDK if that's a good idea. Plus, part of my dilemma is having the narrow rear on my C&C, the inside of the rears will hit the springs if I go much wider, and the weenies are already sticking out of the fender a little. If I have to add flares that will ruin the whole point of the tucked under look. I've wanted to try 19.5s, but they are very hard to find around here, and I've figured that I can only fit the 225/70s, which look short. 245/70s look good but will be too wide to fit under the bed.
I'm once again thinking about converting to srw just so I can run some taller rubber. 35s would be legal, but I can get 37 Hummer takeoffs really cheap, so I think I'd risk it. I have room to clear them. Some of these srw trucks like Sturgis' just make me drool. Oh, what to do!?

I really don't want to give up the cool factor of the tucked under dual wheels, but I am sorely tempted to swap the axles just to clear srw and tall rubber. Found some 19.5s with new 245/70s, but the guy wants $1600 for them. Probably worth what he paid, but that's more than I paid for my truck, and I can get Hummer tires for $60-$70 apiece, and only need four of them. And then of course I have to worry about how bad towing is going to be with 37s..

Re: How about some pics of 73-91 crew cabs
Yeah i have had few sets of 9.00-16 power kings. If you are looking into 9.00's a place near me carries them, I'm sure shipping would be $$$ but might be only way. Place is called bobs tire in berkeley springs WV, I think they were around 240 each last time I bought some. I currently have hummer 37's on my truck with wide dually rear using bushwackers and they barely cover but again thats the wide rear, I love the tires though cant beat them for the price and the wear like no other tire avail.
