Bob could you tell us what thickness plate you used and how it's fixed to the bed?...this has got me thinking too, a few xtra pics of the bed would be cool if possible...

Re: How about some pics of 67-72 Trucks
I'm guessing you are referring to the pics on pg. 1 which was in 2006. We are now on pg. 181 so you may want to PM Down South Truckin in case he does not follow this thread anymore. BTW.... to the board from SC.

Re: How about some pics of 67-72 Trucks
JeffD, that's a good looking truck. Reminds me of the one I had -- 72 Cheyenne lwb, 402 and A/C, black on black from the factory. Yours is a lot cleaner, though.

Re: How about some pics of 67-72 Trucks
Bob, what air conditioning system did you use? also looks like your firewall has some sort of adapter for the hose/line installation to cover the existing holes in the firewall. most I see are flat and have had filler panels welded in and smoothed.

Re: How about some pics of 67-72 Trucks
Heres my baby. I'm 16 and this is my first car. Me and my dad found it with a blown motor for real cheap and couldn't resist. We bought it and swapped the blown motor with a stock 350. Original Arizona truck but the previous owner before me drove down to Boise, Idaho to pick it up and brought it back to Winnipeg. Just waiting for the snow to melt before i can drive it again!

Re: How about some pics of 67-72 Trucks
This has been my dream truck for over 10 years. I finally broke down and drove to Omaha, Nebraska in July of 2010 to pick this truck up. It has a built 350 that is putting out about 400HP. This truck is super clean and the body is in great shape. I spent the winter putting on a 4/6 drop kit from ECE, with front disc brakes. I wanted to keep the old school style so I went with American Racing Torq Thrust wheels. I plan on spending a lot more time and money on this bad boy in the future.

Thanks. I just got this truck through some horse trading and tell you the truth I'm about scared to drive it, I don't want anything to happen to it. lol
