Did you have to do any mods to the back of the air cleaner to fit around the dist?

You make me want to get a bead roller and start practicing! You are doing a killer job. I am already looking at reviews online and searching for a good one.

What are you using? Eastwood had one for an affordable price, and saw a guy on YouTube that hooked up a drill motor to it.

Re: 67 cheby's Dropmember build thread

thanks everyone else on the panels i am busting my butt on them right now, here are a couple ugly pics from last night, the areas that i couldnt bend in the metal brake i had to bend a piece cut it off and weld it in to give it the same rolled edge all the way around ! so here are the ugly pics before i smooth out the welds ! I should have some pretty pics tomorrow !

Re: 67 cheby's Dropmember build thread

mike I covered all my wires with a couple of frame kits from painless and ran inside the frame. i had to bundle the sensor wires and just cut to length for the two that run up front. attached with MADE 4 U clamps and you cant even tell on a black frame...they are protected, look braided if up close but protected non the less.

Re: 67 cheby's Dropmember build thread

I can't remember now...are you going to be painting the panels body color or satin black or some other black?

On the bed wood...what are you leaning towards? A lighter wood or something darker for contrast? I think with the large (and very cool ) notch cover covering most of the bed it might look better with lighter wood or....painted wood or metal instead of natural wood....

Re: 67 cheby's Dropmember build thread

I think VA hit it on the head. The bright wood or dark wood may make the step cover look out of place. A light birch or something to a grayish color would look pretty sweet I think.
