Re: What did you do to your truck today!

Finished my motor mounts for my LT1 swap into a 63 c10. Raised the motor 5/8" to help clear the AC instead of spending money on brackets. Worked great with all the room under the hood.

Now to fit the headers and fuel lines. Waiting for my stand alone harness and ECM I got a killer deal on with VATS and smog deletes already done. I want to build a thread, but new to this site and have no idea where to start.

Welcome to the forum.
To do a build thread, click on "forums" on the tool bar, then under "The 1960 - 1966 Chevrolet & GMC Pickups Message Board" there is a sub forum "Projects and builds". Click on that and then click on new thread, upper left.

Or just click here,
http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/f...play.php?f=197

Good luck with the project.

Re: What did you do to your truck today!

Got back after dark yesterday (so didn't post) from picking up an 94 five lug 3:42 posi (we'll see...) for my '71. Spent most of the day rearranging my shop to have a little more room to work.

Re: What did you do to your truck today!

Got my only leaking fitting on the new Boyde under bed tank to stop leaking last night when got home from work. Put tank in on my Thursday off, wired and plumbed it. Started right up. The electric pump in the tank for the LS 5.3 is a lot quieter than the under the driver seat on the frame pump. Waiting on a Blazer sender wire with firewall grommet from Wes to finish up the job. Should be here soon. Pics later.

Well I installed a new tach, new headlight switch, E-brake handle, acc plate over the key, door lock pulls, larger bulbs in the dash, painted the needles and polished the lens.

No problems mine are about 4 and a half inches deep and leaves enough space in between the tranny

Re: What did you do to your truck today!

I went to auto fair yesterday and bought new aluminum radiator, headlight bezels, door lock and key switch kit(one key), and the blazer tank conversion. Special thanks goes out to Jason at Daves Truck Parts for being so helpful. He was able to answer all of my questions and questions my brother had for his '65. I can't wait to get the truck back from the shop that is putting on my new heads. So ready to burn the back tires off of this thing!!!!
