Re: Post Your Craigslist Finds
Anyone on the Board pick up this Silicon Valley unicorn? Asking price was $16,000. I called on it but too late.

Re: Post Your Craigslist Finds
Also on SPID it lists Z62 custom deluxe equip. Does that mean the extra fuel tanks?

Nope, no connection at all. Z62 is just a trim level that groups things like cloth seat cover (not houndstooth though, usually referred to as Custom Cloth on a SPID at the YE9 level), Deluxe emblem, etc. in 71-72, trim levels progress upward from Custom (base, not on the SPID), to Custom Deluxe (Z62), to Cheyenne (Z84), to Cheyenne Super (YE9). Z84 was Custom Sport Truck pre-1971, but that terminology did bleed over into some 71 Cheyennes on the SPID. Z84 was the highest trim level pre-71. Custom Deluxe was also the only trim level with which the highlander trim option could be ordered (i.e. just the seat cover or the promo package trucks). Re: Post Your Craigslist Finds
Yeah it’s definitely an oddball. Not sure where they got the 4wd idea from? I don’t know for sure what the z62 option includes but I was reading here
http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...d.php?t=635040 That it’s necessary in order for it to be a real highlander. And with this having the Z62 and the Z11 color code I’m reading it to be the blue plaid seat covers.

Re: Post Your Craigslist Finds
Too true! My truck can evade some only because I have saddle tanks for a net volume of 51 gallons. 10 MPG when not towing. I have a 3.54 axle, so probably beat that guy by some small percentage.

I follow the Phoenix Craigslist. This seller frequently advertises there and many other locations. He's in Sherman, TX, and this listing is New York. Does anyone have any experience with them?

Re: Post Your Craigslist Finds
Nice bumper $50. Comes with the sweet mud flaps. Not mine.
https://seattle.craigslist.org/tac/p...160725223.html Stout and heavy farm, ranch type bumper from a full size Chevrolet fleetside pickup. Good steel for welding projects or use the bumper as a bumper. Could be adapted to fit other makes and models. Sky is the limit. Mudflaps are included. In all honesty this is one of the better examples I have seen of these specimens. Cannot deliver. $50 or best offer on this classic. I'll consider a trade for a railroad tie anvil in the odd chance you have one.

1971 C30 Napco.
https://minneapolis.craigslist.org/d...159287998.html Cool truck. Seems like a reasonable price for this. Its rusty, but you don't see these everyday! |

Re: Post Your Craigslist Finds
It's a member's truck - I'd jump on it in a heartbeat if I had the room and/or time. Can't beat the price though considering the unique nature/rarity of a 67-72 NAPCO conversion. Hope someone restores it to its former beauty.
