Re: How about some pics of 73-91 crew cabs

What's the smallest lift to be able to fit 35" tires? A body or suspension lift?

These are some great scores on Craigslist! What are you guys typing in the search bar to find them?

You don't need a lift for 35's. Just a little fender trimming.

Love the tan crew Eat Soot! Good looking truck.

I wish my wife showed more love for the older squares. If she did I would stick her in an 2wd crew.

Re: How about some pics of 73-91 crew cabs

I never looked twice at the crew cabs until... I found this Thread one night.

Picked up this last week. Oklahoma truck. GMC 1 ton 454… This thing is 100% Rust free. Got big plans for this old girl!!

( Lifted CCSB 1 ton 4x4 Single rear wheel Cummins NV4500 NP205 )

Also picked up 97 1 ton dually cummins bad auto tranny 187,000 mi, motor runs like new. The old guy said he wouldn't sell it for less than what the junk yard would give him for it. I asked how much... Paid $700 for the whole truck.

The 51 isn't mine. That's were I picked up the crew. It was a really nice survivor car though!

Coming from Iowa, I'm not used to seeing rust free cars/or trucks.

I get down to Oklahoma and there every were!!

It seemed like every back yard had nice old classics in it.

It was a good thing I didn't have a bigger trailer!

My wallet definitely would of taken a hit!!

Here is a pic of the underside of the crew. Some of you guys might be used to seeing this but not me.. Ive seen 2011 trucks around here with more rust!

Re: How about some pics of 73-91 crew cabs

Nice score DD! That crew will make a great base for your project plans!

I can't believe the deal you got on the cummins donor! Up here in Saskatchewan people think those things are worth their weight in gold! Adds read; 800 000km, tranny burnt, rear diff howls, axle bearings went and wheel fell off, runs great, $8000 OBO.

Just crazy!
