Re: 67 cheby's Dropmember build thread
Hate to drag this out, but, wife and I will have 48 yrs in November. If you have the right one they sure make our dreams easier to get done. We just have to make sure we let them have some too.....Jim

Re: 67 cheby's Dropmember build thread
Hey congrats on 18 years. I'm not to far behind you...almost 17 years. I always joke with my wife that I've had my truck longer (27 years) so she can't give me a hard time when I'm spending so much time with her.

Re: 67 cheby's Dropmember build thread
well since there has been a shortage of pics here are a few i will share, i finally got my compressors mounted solid for the first time, the vibration isolators worked AWESOME !! very quite ! I got a couple swivel mounts in yesterday for bringing my compressor lines into the tank, so i can make my hoses lay right and not look all kinked up ....Lastly i made the WORLD'S UGLIEST bed dolly, i was to cheap to go buy new metal to do it with so i used scrap metal laying around the garage...UGLY but effective, two of my wheels on my cart are swivel and two are solid mounts and they were turned the wrong way so i cut them off and welded them back on..anyway here are the pics

Re: 67 cheby's Dropmember build thread
The dual rubber mounts is a great idea. It's time to try and make mine a little more quiet too. What rubber mounts did you use for the plate to bracket?

Re: 67 cheby's Dropmember build thread
i bought them off of ebay, they are vibration isolators, there are tons of different styles, mine were made for dental equipment ! LOL, i got the idea from Keith, his compressors were so quite ! the exo system uses vibration isolators on it also, i also put 1/8 thick rubber washer between my air tank and where it bolts to the frame
