I'll try and get some better shots before it leaves (the owner is in financial stress at the moment) The motor is a 2180 turbo (I believe).

Here's what's on the other side.....

Wow! That '69 brings back memories......I lost a Hugger Orange one in my divorce. She turned around and sold it for $1200.00. The guy felt so guilty, he stopped by at Christmas with some presents.

Re: Hazel the older Sister....

Made a little progress today on the truck. I finished fabricating the air box and all that needs to be done now is to body work and paint the valve covers and the box and that can be checked off the list. The front brake lines are all done thanks to my buddy Roger. I guess he didn't want to watch me go through a couple of sticks of tubing or he wants to see progress, either way I'll take it. I also cut all the bumps and unwanted ridges off the exhaust manifolds......also got started on grinding them down so I can get them slicked up and coated.....what a nasty job! I didn't get any pictures of this because by the end of the day I just wanted to get home and take a shower and get all the rust and iron off of me!

LMK what you want to imitate.......some of the stuff I've done more than once and I might could save you some grief.....translation: I usually have to do it more than once to get it to work!

Re: Hazel the older Sister....

did you just weld a bung into the back of the valve covers ?? i am running a TBI set up and my intake doesnt have a blank spot for the filler neck do you think i can drill it anyway for a filler neck or do you have any other idea for a filler for me, i thought about maybe going into the side of the valve cover with some kind of filler (on the intake side), any ideas ??

Angle back.....I'm now going to try something different because I have over 15 hours in one manifold and I still don't like the way it looks..
