There's 2 E's in C H E V R O L E T.
That's obvious, I know, but on the 67/68 nose's, the Es are different. That is, the E in CHE has different post positions than the E in LET.
Found that out when I went to cannibalize a letter off my mothballed 67 K/10 Suburban for my active 68 C/10 Stepside. So letter #3 is not same as letter #8.

Man that’s what I love about this site. All the help you get so you don’t make the same mistakes. I need the first ‘E’ but may keep my eyes on the for sale area if a nice set of driver quality letters comes up. I’m not in any huge rush.
