Re: Post pics of your Longbed Trucks!! No short stuffs allowed!!
See the orange dually in the background. I sold it six years ago when I bought the silver truck.
A few weeks ago I get a lien sale notice from a towing company. Their going to sell the truck if I don't pay towing and storage charges. How can this be......I haven't owned it for six years! Turns out the guy I sold it to never registered it. Fortunately, I filed a release of liability form when I sold it, so I am not on the hook. Went to the tow yard to tell the guy the story and this is what it looks like now. Several people critically injured in this one. That truck weighed 6,800 lbs. He hit a car with it and somehow was able to run away. Check out how the top is buckled. Door knocked off. Can't understand how he was able to run away. |

The power windows were added since this pic was taken. Nice catch...means you're lookin'.
When I added the windows, my wife also made some nifty door panel inserts with a bow-tie logo on them. I'll take a pic of those and post when I have time. |

Verry nice truck!
I wonder what it would be like to buy one that doesn't need a thing?

Re: Post pics of your Longbed Trucks!! No short stuffs allowed!!
Nice looking trucks!! I still prefer the Longbed Trucks with the stock height. I like a truck to work like a truck. Feel free to vote for your favorite longbed truck in this thread that was started a while back and really got some awesome support from everyone in this forum. May the best LongBed win....but with a 67-72 truck we are all winners. Thank you.

From the factory I guess, that's the original seat cover. Thanks, but my truck difinitely needs a few things. I really think that no matter what truck you have, you always want it to be better in one way or another. It keeps it fun that way. |

Re: Post pics of your Longbed Trucks!! No short stuffs allowed!!
not sure if you know this or not, but someone stole some inches from you....lol....does your woman know you are a little short?
Where did you make the cut? was it the center of the wheel well? I'm considering doing a similar one to mine but I will shorten the wheelbase to a shortbed frame and use the front of a short bed and the length of the long bed in the rear. |

Here's mine on the day of purchase. Try your best to ignore the gas prices in the background.
