Re: Facebook Marketplace finds

That's a nice truck. I saw it when it was still a resident of California and I'm sure you have improved it beyond that.

Re: Facebook Marketplace finds

Thanks for the photos of the 292. I am restoring a 67 with a 292 in it and had wondered what is the original color. I do not know what this is called but it is not the Chevy Orange. Thanks.

Somehow Krypton Alpine Green does not sound like a GM color. And now I will get off this track and let folks have the FB postings page back. I apologize for getting onto a different subject..

Re: Facebook Marketplace finds

Alpine Green is very close a close match for some original GM engines. While my 292 kung fu is weak, Alpine Green is a very close match for the 66 327 truck engine.

67 K1500, don't see these too often. Ad says it has the 305 V6 but no pics unfortunately.

Re: Facebook Marketplace finds

Wish I didn't have too many projects at the moment. Someone scoop this one up! 67 K10 swb stepside with 4 speed and a factory winch. The "new rockers" install is crappy job but this is one of only 1229 produced. Owner said the body is solid other than the obvious floor rust. The truck came with a 292, but that's been replaced with a small block. VIN KS147 J 153487

He is asking 5500. You can find his by searching 68 g10 snb or his name, Hollis Simpson, the truck is in Paris, Texas.
