Re: Patina, shop logo'd, rusty trucks?

After juggling the artwork ideas around for a few weeks (see previous post of mine for first version), we finally decided on a final version.

I got it painted last week. I did learn that I'm a better mechanic than sign painter, but it looks decent enough to show pics of in this thread.

My buddy made me stencils on his sign cutting machine. I applied them to the doors and painted with 1-shot paint. Remove stencils and age the paint with some creativity for the final result.

I have been wanting to go look at this same truck but I would have the same situation as you if I came home with it. I might have to be burried in it!! I havent had time to work on mine and I am getting the itch to drive an old truck again.

How much are they asking for it? If not to much, just buy it and tell your wife you're storing it for a buddy........

They are down to $2,800 nowHere is the CraigsList Link. Seems like a good deal, but I haven't went to look at it yet either. No like Coyote mentioned. I better just stay away from it. I like my bed. It's nice and warm, and comfy.

Building a small, high rpm engine with the perfect bore, stroke and rod ratio is very impressive.
It's like a highly skilled Morrocan sword fighter with a Damascus Steel Scimitar.....

Say hello to Harold: 72 GMC, 350/ 350, a crappy dent repair on the driver door, and lots of genuine patina.
