Re: Made my hotel reservations for the Southeast Truck Nationals

I just walked in the door getting back home. My nephews 65 made the 500 mile round trip without a hiccup thankfully. Meet quite a few people and mentioned this forum but knowone had any idea. I gave them all the website info and maybe we'll get some new members.

a LOT of nice trucks there, show is much much bigger than it used t be. Great time.

Ole Blue made the 960 mile round trip flawlessly with the AC running and at 75 mph a good part of the time.

It was a good time with good people. The trucks get better every year.

Re: Made my hotel reservations for the Southeast Truck Nationals

I guess I was trying to get home a bit too quickly after the show. As I was taching up the K20 while leaving Westmoreland TN, the city police pulled me over for doing 54mph in a 30mph zone. I was at the end of town and thought the limit was back to 55mph, but I was wrong. They also didn't like the year-of-manufacture license plate that I was running, which is legal in my home state of KY. However, the officer was cool and let me go. He understood that I needed to get some air moving on a 95 degree day.

Regardless, it was great to be there and see everyone.

In my haste to get home, I wouldn't have been surprised if I had suffered a similar fate.

We was hoping to see you in the Pavillon where they sell Tee-shirts.

If one of us could get your Contact info,
we can plan to see you next year in the group meeting at High Noon.

I was already gone before I saw your message about meeting up there. I did wander through that area a few times but I have no idea what time it was.

My nephew and I will be at the C10 Nats in Lebanon in October. Maybe we can meet up there.

Re: Made my hotel reservations for the Southeast Truck Nationals

Made it home last night . Truck ran great the whole trip little over 1900 miles . One of the guys we were riding with had break problems . Shutter valve kept tripping. No leaks anywhere and master was full . So we went online and found a master at Autozone put it in reset the shutter valve with a pick bleed the brake good pressure removed the pick and it immediately tripped . Back to the auto parts got a new portioning valve bleed again brake was working but not correct so he limped it home to MD
