This truck has been a blast to watch come together! The simple things like the hood struts are my favorite parts

Re: Maggie's Custom
Some detail shots. The new carb put on last night.
Her hand painted emblems. Button head bed bolts. Some old horn I had laying around. Her hand painted sail panels. Got the inspection sticker last night, got to get some 66 plates and regusation done, than finish up the doors!! Than its hers!! Her list of things to do is A/C and heat, power steering, recover the seat, rubber mat, radio, and a few other small things along the way. The caps are staying! Stuff to make it more comfortable for her to drive and enjoy! Jason and Maggie. Hope to see a few of you this Saturday! |

Re: Maggie's Custom
Wow truck is looking great!!!nice progress and details you and Maggie are adding. I'm happy to see you guys driving this baby around! How does it ride???
Also I hate to be a pain but could you please take some measurement for me... Driveshaft, rear shock length, and a couple of pics of your shifter linkage please. Thank you in advance. I've been checking things off my list to reach my goal of being able to drive this thing in the spring..... Might take a couple steps back this winter to do a couple things I'd like to do....jam the doors clean up firewall ect. Thanks for the motivation can't wait to drive my truck too. By the way we need a video of her running!!!

Re: Maggie's Custom
I'll get that info for you this weekend!
We worked on the truck until 3:00 this morning, came to work at 7. I'm a little tired. We got the doors 98.9% done. Need some nutserts to intall the door panels as a few of them are missing. John had a used under dash A/C, heat unit. He installed it so she could have heat this winter. It works like a champ!!! When he gets going there is no stopping him. Jason I didn't take a single pic of said work. |

Re: Maggie's Custom
Thanks for the offer McMurphy, but I wanted it fixed before the show, so I installed rivnuts, worked perfect!!
Door panels, and door glass, all new rubber!! Used A/C, heat underdash unit from John, works like a champ. I'll get the A/C up and running next year!! More pics comming! |

Re: Maggie's Custom
So the brake rod was dragging on the brake pedal, fixed it, made the drive to the gas station.
I come out of the store and this is what shes doing!! Someone asked for Maggie in the driver seat!! Looks like a pro, waiting in line to get in!! A few of the cars in the crew we rode in with! She later said one of the best parts was driving in and driving out of the show!!! More to come!! |

Re: Maggie's Custom
Love the build. I'm a nut over the 64 to 66 trucks done this way as I have completed 2 of them and sold both. I also think its great that both of you are equally involved in the project. Please keep us updated and good luck !

Re: Maggie's Custom
We spoke about offers before the truck was done. I told her that she would get a few, so put a price tag on it, she said not for sale, she turned down a really fair offer Saturday.
