Re: How about some pics of 73-87 Long Beds?
Ok, I've never seen the Sierra Grande emblem like that one before. I've always seen them in the more "hand written" style.

Dude I'd love so much to get ahold of a right hand drive truck like that. I'd put my 10 year old on the left with a fake steering wheel and go mess with peoples heads.... like in the drive thru windows, or on the freeway. haha! Plus then I could get the mail when i turn in the driveway without getting out. Last edited by 78 Chevyrado; 12-10-2009 at 12:10 AM. |

Re: How about some pics of 73-87 Long Beds?
Yes 2WD. And tire size is 235/75R15. The rear are diff brand from the front, but same size. Had to do it on the cheap. Bought truck from father and had to drive it 45 miles to my house. Only problem now is the front bearings blew up and welded themselves to the spindles. But drop spindles and drop springs with a flip kit are on the way.

Re: How about some pics of 73-87 Long Beds?
Here are a few pics of the ole truck I saved from someones backyard. I know the paint leaves a lot to be desired, but it was sitting for over 4 years and the owner told me that, "It would not run".
It runs and drives great (a lot of minor engine & trans work and over 150 miles later), just needs to be one color. |

Re: How about some pics of 73-87 Long Beds?
Here are more interior shots and the refurbed grill. This the 1st new truck my dad bought. The tag on the front is the Korean War Memorial in DC. My dad was a POW from 1950 to 1953. This restoration is in memory of him.

Re: How about some pics of 73-87 Long Beds?
Is that the LMC speaker headliner in there? If so, hows the fit and how hard was it to install? Does it comes with the speakers or no? How hard are they to hook up?
