Neat. What kind of a cam did you end up going with?
BTW, a note for other 292 fans; the LPG pistons are still available. I had read in the past several times that they were out of production, but they aren't; Summit has them for $256 a set. Just search Sealed Power 980P; the last two digits after the P will be the overbore (980P20=.020", etc.). |

Dropped the engine off at the machinist today! Should see it done sometime late November. AH!!! Its so close its scary! And the wait......... So...anyhow....Got a ton a parts on order....Summit Racing is a great place for parts...heck..orders over $99 free 2-4 day shipping! Well....updates a coming soon! Hey all! Been awhile since I updated...Anyhow...My engine should be back from the machine shop sometime this coming week. Getting super excited. Truck is parked in the shop for the winter so its stays nice an dry. Anyhow, I'll leave ya'all with a colstart vid! Or are you gonna take 2 v/8 Aluminum heads and cut 1 cylinder off each 1 and weld together and redrill the block for the heads to bolt up.. Hmm this could get interesting.

Hey guys, engine is DONE! But, before you get excited...I haven't picked it up yet. lol Probably will be this coming friday. Few touches the machinist has to do an its done! So pictures coming soon. Oh, found some pictures of my truck when I 1st got it! Yeah! Some 8 years ago now! Needless to say...its come a long way for sure.
