Amazing work on the dash!
Praying for you and your little girl. Those babies are precious and we sure hate that they catch a bug occasionally.

Re: project bagged 63 c10

So I had so much fun painting the dash....I redid it again
Truth be told j had some dirt fly out of the hair dryer while drying the paint. This waterborne paint requires air movement to dry the paint. Being it is super humid out the hot hair dryer works good except when you don't double check it first for dust. So I denibbed the base and cleared it. When I went back the next day to check it out there were all kinda of sand scrathes that normally I would have rebased but ran out of paint figured I could get away with it but.....Nope. I've brushing A$$ on my project so I figured I'd get it over with and reshoot it. Glad I did....came out like a piece of glass and super deep started wets sanding and buffing and can't help but smile...hard work eventually pays off!!

Cheers!

Time for a bigger exhaust fan

Thanks man. Not a huge fan of wetsanding and buffing either but like you said it's definitely worth it in the end especially when your shooting in a tiny one car garage surprisingly in the area and conditions I have been painting in I got very little dust so little scuff and buff wasn't bad.

Re: project bagged 63 c10

Havent posted in a while. mosf of the iside of the cab is done. feel like everyghing takes me forever damn ocd. have to herculiner my floor. Still want to pull the doors and jam those up but need to do so cleaning and make si more room.Been watching so many people firing up their trucks and I've got the itch to start focusing on that so I can move the truck under its own power if my driveway didnt have a slight incline I'd be good but this thing is heavy to push by myself uphill haven't done much besides take creeps advice and pull the air cleaner, valve covers and exhaust manifolds and have them blasted so I can paint em up. I'm thinking of pulling the motor and trans and doing all the gaskets and doing a proper paint and detail job on them. Plus I'd like to add some new parts to it while its out. Not sure how many have been following along with my build. The motor and trans I'm using are from a 76 buick regal its a buick 350 and turbo trans only 10k miles since both have been rebuilt and runs really good. Cam and shift kit already installed. I know this is a bit of an abnormal motor to use but i like to be a little different and it was free. It actually fits perfectly in this truck using the engine and trans crossmember and mount no firewall issues and the distributor is on the front too. So for no I'm just going with it till I can build a nice monster motor.

Before you Herculine, look into Monstaliner. I used it on the floor of my Jeep and it is holding up great. It also doesn't have rubber chunks in it like Herculiner and has better UV protection.
