Re: Pictures of your Motorcycle
This is my 1972 Honda CB175. It has 2100 original miles. Near museum quality. Generally, don't ride it much other than riding the grand kids around.
The last two pictures are of my 1977 KZ1000 is a current project. 20k original miles. Rebuilt motor bored to 1075. It reminds me of a muscle car--- super fast in a straight line, but at 520 lbs., lacks a little in the handling department. |

And put that engine in it that you have sitting there. All you have is time.

Re: Pictures of your Motorcycle
Looks like we have the same idea. My big challenge will be dealing with the drive shaft. Got any ideas that are cheap to do?

I found these things at http://www.ljtrikes.com/trikeparts.htm. I've tried reaching out to them, but it seems they are no longer in business, or at least very hard to get a hold of. It looks easy enough, grab a larger cc shaft drive ATV rear and, then modify your swing arm to bolt on the rear end. Keep in kind though that most ATV's have live axles in the rear, so when you turn on paved roads, the tires will be turning the same speed and cause them to fight each other. The bike I'm building is not really for daily street use, more just for fun now and then. This axle also looks to be a live axle because of the single rear brake. It had a differential, it would have brakes on each wheel. Posted via Mobile Device |

Re: Pictures of your Motorcycle
Sold my 1975 Goldwing to make room for a Triumph Thunderbird Storm but bought a house instead. Soon as I'm back to work, it's high on the list of things to get.

My Bike, Ultima/Harley evo 10:1 compression andrews cam 5spd belt drive hard tail 200 series lots of torque took 3years maybe a little longer to collect all the parts/build/$pay for. Re: Pictures of your Motorcycle
My 64 El Camino was my transportation to the desert with the dirt bikes.
I had the El Camino pin stripped by Von Dutch. He would do the paint jobs for my Dad's Yamaha Shop.
