Re: 68 project
Thanks Jess, I am very well pleased with the outcome so far and so glad it is together and does not have to come back apart The tips of my fingers are sore from spinning washers and nuts on

Re: 68 project
I have me a set of Doug Thorley's heading my way, I have been contemplating but just couldn't bring myself to buy a set of those cheap ebay headers, always fear a bunch of cheap header leaks.

Re: 68 project
I've run a set of headmans on my truck for many years. Never had any trouble. Good thick flanges. I think you'll like the thorleys. Glad you have the bed together. Only a few more bolts to put it on the frame. Lol.

Still have all the bolts to install the tubs yet, plus the tailgate has to be mounted yet. I do have all the bed mounting bolts drilled and ready to install.

Re: 68 project
Lookin' GR8! The wood floor looks amazing with the black trim, and the tubs look like they came that way. You're making some awesome progress.

Re: 68 project
Thanks guys, I am ready to ride it so I am trying to be persistent on finding time to work on it. The bed is a big plus to getting closer it was a big chunk of work to get it to this point. I am going to try to finish up the other tub and the gate this week so the bed will be officially 100% finished.

Was able to go by the shop last night and started work on the gate, hopefully can finish it up by the end of the week. Ordered my tail light harness I want to get the bed 100% and then I will move onto the cab and finish it up.
