Love the sound of the truck in that video. Hope my 396 sounds as good when I'm done!

Re: post your 67-72 4x4

Here are a couple of mine, I finally am pretty much finished. It has a 408 LS with a 74mm turbo. I am still working out the tuning bugs on the engine, but it runs real good for a 5300# truck.

What size lift and tires did you decide to go with? jw

Your truck looks great and has a nice stance with a tough look.

Do you have any pictures of where you mounted the trac bars on the rear axle? I'm getting a substantial amount of wrap on acceleration and I'm looking into building some for mine.

Thanks Dieselwrencher. It was a long several years of gathering parts and then finally building the truck. I am happy with how it turned out.

Yeah, that's truck just nail it. I print up pics of cars like these and hang in the garage for inspiration. You know, when your laying on that cold concrete, ATF running down into your armpits, lawn hasn't been mowed in a month, and the wife is nagging you about dinner at her parents and how you got to get cleaned up, her car needs an oil change, and that last bolt you can't even see just won't thread into the damn hole... You slide out for another beer and see that hanging up on the wall.

The tires, the trac-bars, the paint, the super straight body, the classic lines, the motor, the interior.

What life and tire size are you running? LOVE the way your truck sits, I would like mine to sit similar.

Thanks
