Re: Any other projects in your garage?

I finally brought mine home. it has been sitting in the backyard at work for so long i think the fuel has gummed the injectors. not spraying any fuel. either that or the computer as totally gone the way of the water buffalo. first time on my trailer for the jeep, thanfully the fenders are sturdy because it is to wide to fit between!

Re: Any other projects in your garage?

My newest arrival; a 66 Dart GT. A buddy of mine picked this up as a complete car minus engine and stripped it out with the intent of making it an altered wheelbase nostalgia drag car. He lost interest thankfully before he started cutting and hacking, and now it is in my shop. My intent is to reassemble it as a real basic driver, then use it as a daily driver. 318, 904 auto, and real tall highway gears like 2.73s or 2.43s, and just enjoy driving a classic every day. Oh, my personal twist.....the front end from a 66 Valiant. Hopefully it will look a little like what a Barracuda sedan would have if it was ever made.....

The Dart as of now:

The Valiant donor (was sacrificed to save 4 other cars due to extremely high DMV costs):

Once I get moved, and get a little Saturn project out of the way I can get started. I know, I know...it's a sickness.

Yes the Valiant did have curb feelers on all four corners, good eye. The fenders I saved still have them attached I think, maybe finding their way onto the Dart........or maybe not......

And congrats on that Charger, very cool off rear ride.

And now for something completely different...

a 1940s double-sided porcelain neon sign. Six feet long, 3 feet high. Fully restored and resting in a special-built crate waiting to be hung. Pictures don't do it justice.

I love that sign.

My mom and dad worked for Westinghouse at one time.

Here's one of my several projects, 1972 ironhead sportster with a pb grind cam, handmade forward controls & breather, 12" over early '40's 45 style springer with stock front wheel, rigid jockey shift with suicide clutch. It's been a long term build.

I'm not a big Harley fan, but that is one cool build. I really dig the vintage vibe and the home made parts, well done!

Re: Any other projects in your garage?

Here is the project that enabled me to get my '62 Fleetside... I did a Military Tribute bike to remember my Dad, who was a Vietnam Vet. After it was all done, I traded it for the C10.

This is my current Commuter Project (not my typical style of project, but I can't be driving a classic or muscle car 100 miles a day in rush hour traffic):

Re: Any other projects in your garage?

I don't know a great deal about bikes, but I love the overall theme and the numerous details that make it interesting to study. Nice job.

Thanks! I tried to do something unique while still having a military theme.
