Re: project INCREDIBLE HULK 6.2L with 6L80E

got the missing rod ends for the PB TAs, and installed everything...which leads to a problem, the "killer2" logo i made to go across the bridge, hits the rear end when aired out...so it'll have to be cut out and moved up about 1"..

Re: project INCREDIBLE HULK 6.2L with 6L80E

welp after installing the PB rear suspension, the added drop put the rear end at a crazy bad angle...so the rear end was pulled out, mounting pads cut off, set proper pinion angle at ride height, and weld them back on.... also the shocks bottomed out before the bags were fully compressed (also do to the added drop of the PB arms)... so the old shock mounts were removed, new ones made, and installed on the bridge....now with the taken care of, since the 6L80E is so big and the new PB setup, we're gonna have to tunnel the cab (all this will be hidden under the center console), and make the hoop bigger on the PB crossmember.. ill get pics of that when the time comes...

Nice work, I hate doing things twice but when you're going custom it happens sometimes...especially when you step up to the newest and best components...going to be an awesome truck!

You are doing an awesome job on the build. Have you considered having the Nathan cut the logo in the bridge plate too.

I don't see what you have done being on the same quality level as the rest of your build.

Re: project INCREDIBLE HULK 6.2L with 6L80E

Quick question pertaining to the rear setup- At full dump, how far is the frame off the ground?

Great looking build. I've been sitting on the sidelines watching this for quite some time now. You do amazing work.

Re: project INCREDIBLE HULK 6.2L with 6L80E

got some brakes in.... they are massive, 14.5" rotors all round, 4 piston polished alumnium brembo style calipers, and braided brake lines....also got another electric style master cyliner/power booster....
the calipers are 12" long and nearly 7" wide, and they look BIG, as well as the ROTORS themselves....everything installed with no problems, except the rears....the rear caliper mounting bracket mounting holes were off by
.25"....im gonna call the company (abspowerbrake.com) and let them know, so they'll send me the correct brackets...but here is how big they are, and them mounted on the truck with 22s and 20s

Just a little bigger and you wouldn't need the wheels and tires.

So in a full power emergency stop, how will you ever be able to stop?

im gonna wire in the air system to the brake switch... so incase of an emergency full on stop, the bags will deflate and just grindddd the front bumper to a stop (hopefully)

Re: project INCREDIBLE HULK 6.2L with 6L80E

SWEET!!!!
I'll have to go with a shorter tire for that one to work for me.

I'm using the itsy bitsy 13" Corvette front brakes and Camaro 12" rears.
Rotor envy.............
I feel totally inadequite now.

I'm waiting for XXL to chime in with a totally inappropriate picture for this.

You got everyone all excited with the big rotors and now you exceeded your bandwidth and I can't see them

Re: project INCREDIBLE HULK 6.2L with 6L80E

yeah, I went ahead and upgraded because I have a TON of pics saved of my truck and remodeling pictures and was reaching the free limit and didn't want to deal with multiple free accounts to get around it so I just payed the "man" to get my pictures back
