Re: Suburban and panel finds

Another 72 for today. At $15K looks to be in better shape and not nearly as good of a deal as free. But not over priced either if the under side is a nice as all the shiny parts above. Although it breaks my rule of thumb for paint. Dark color on the bottom and light colors on the top.

https://seattle.craigslist.org/est/c...718447641.html

Up for sale is a 1972 Suburban. Has a 383 stroker. Bought it as is. Trying to down size our cars. Miles are unknown at this time. Paint is in ok condition. Runs and drives. Sold as is where is.

Re: Suburban and panel finds

71 project $4500 looks to be a good price if it is a solid as the photos seem to indicate.

https://seattle.craigslist.org/est/c...676646026.html

2 wheel drive 1971 Chevy 3 window Suburban for sale. Bagged, supper solid truck no rust in the floors or rockers. 1st and second row seat, one of the cleanest no rust trucks I have seen which is why I bought it. It has power disk brakes, power steering, tilt column, Chevy 350 700r4 trany, posi rearend, new gas tank, all glass is there, all parts are there to put together. This is an amazing and rare old Chevy. I have actually never seen one on the road or at a car show. The engine and trans are pulled at the moment to finish pumbing the air ride, collector plates and clean title in hand. I hate to see it go but I have to make room for my duagters car so my project has to go. No trades and I do not need help selling my truck. I am a car guy and know what this is worth which is way more than I am asking so no stupid offers please. These suburbans are rare and even harder to find in this condition. Let me know if you have questions.

Re: Suburban and panel finds

1972 Suburban - $10000 (Rockwall)

1972 Chevrolet Suburban. Has a 69 front clip. Clean blue Texas title. This is the last year of the 3 door suburban. 4 wheel drive. 4x4.
350 crate engine with approximately 1000 miles. Th350 transmission. Runs strong and starts right away. New wiring harness. All new bushing with Rancho shocks. New gear box, tie rods, etc. Four wheel drive with lift and bf Goodrich 33's with no signs of wear on the tread. Four wheel drive works. Pretty straight body.

The bad is transmissions went out. Will fix but seeing if there is any interest without as the next person may want a different transmission. There is some rust in the front pans. I have all the new sheet metals parts to go with it. Including floors pans rockers etc. Interiar needs work.

Comes with vintage air to be installed. Third row bench seat. Lizard skin spray on heat and sound barrier. Front sway bar. New metal to fix rust.

Shoot me an email if interested and I can give more details over the phone.

If the post is up it is still available.

I am open to trades. Classic cars, street rod, jeep, wake boat or maybe a fishing boat. I do not want another project though. It needs to be a completed or near complete car or jeep. Could trade for a bathroom and/or kitchen remodel but would need proof of your past work and references.

Cash and local only. Dont need help selling.

Please only contact if interested. I have had a lot of people email or call and ask the
Same questions in the post or flat out never respond back. Also schedule a time to come see it and never show.

Re: Suburban and panel finds

If I had to guess those Suburbans are in Cameron which if you found the center between Austin, Dallas and Houston you would be close. Texas is a big State.

I'd like to have that roof rack on the Ocre one.

I need to retire then I can rescue all of them

Duh, I see in the ad above that group of Suburbans and Panels are in Rockwall not Cameron. Rockwall is near Dallas.

Wink Re: Suburban and panel finds

I was thinking the same thing Dave was, but based on his response, I'm assuming he passed..

so I'm buying that roof rack in Kansas

seller is super cool, sent some close up pics, only minor flaws but perimeter frame is excellent shape! pulled it already and even number the parts for me..

I've got a good home for it, thanks for the tip Travis!

thought I'd bump our low traffic thread and share the rest of the story..

that seller Kevin is a champ! arrived all in tact yesterday in bomb proof packing!

he sent me measurement pictures of the install, numbered the parts, and included all hardware

not sure it's a factory option or not since it's a four footer and number of brackets shy of others I've seen..

but it's certainly vintage and in great shape for age and purpose, should clean up nice..

just enough minor use nicks and scratches to not be afraid to use it on my camping burb

pictures from the burb it was removed from..

Hell yeah,

No doubt a great addition to a classic Burb.
