Re: Project Orange Crush (57 3100)
Thanks guys AD how are you holding yours up on your running board for your burb so they don't bounce and hit your body? or is it inevitable when you hang them close?

Re: Project Orange Crush (57 3100)
Hey Val, the tips on mine run through the side of the running board. I made a cage for the tips to slip into...and bolt to...holding them in place. The tip connects to stainless flex hose / pipe. Basically I copied Bob from Minooka and Marc...Youngrodder
Here is a pic from Youngrodders truck. |

Re: Project Orange Crush (57 3100)
Aha! That makes sense may just give that a shot or leave them a half inch lower after all ground clearance in the back is not an issue
In other news T minus 10 days for the wedding I've been so busy doing things for that and the fact that it's been 90+ with 70%+ humidity I have gotten 0 truck time We sealed the deal on the new place with garage so truck time will continue and now even a little bit in the milder winter months and rainy days

Re: Project Orange Crush (57 3100)
Congrats on getting a garage with a place to stay. I always say I need a big shop with a small house.
Wow 10 days it will be here before you know it. Don't get stressed it will all be ok.

Re: Project Orange Crush (57 3100)
nice box! I am still using the evil smiley matco tool cart I got 12 years ago for $180 because the screwdriver rail was bent (I bent it back!) but I have been looking to upgrade. these look super great.
so your truck is able to help move, thats cool too.

Re: Project Orange Crush (57 3100)
FOUND MY MANIFOLD
I ended up spending $250 on which is a little more then I wanted but I needed to ship the lower intake and fuel rail from Illinois the upper I found at a local yard woot woot the project continues even just a little bit Last night we moved EVERYTHING into the new place up until 2am up three sets of stairs dozens of times and back to work at 8 needless to say I'm exhausted But we got it done... now to make it through the wedding in one piece

Re: Project Orange Crush (57 3100)
Awesome to hear you are still tinkering with the truck even with everything else that is going on. Well you two have gone through quite a bit in the last while I'm sure the wedding will be great.

Re: Project Orange Crush (57 3100)
No truck time whatsoever gentlemen between wife and moving and new job and all the I-CAR classes I am taking (not complaining I'm loving every second of all of it) I have had no time for the truck but this week/weekend I hope to do the intake job at the least so I can resell to old carb and manifold setup (wink wink any takers?)
Not sure if anyone wanted it but here is a wedding day picture (if I look scared to death it's because I was) Hope to have a truck update soon until next time fellas -Logan

Re: Project Orange Crush (57 3100)
hey congrats! the one piece of wisdom I can give is, if you know you are going to fight about it for 3 days and give in, just give in and spare both of you the three days.
