Re: Al's 71C10 Rebuild
Thank you!!!
Heath I have not ran a speedo cable as I am in the process of replacing my gauges to autometers and I am going to use an electronic speed sensor and not have to run an actual speedo cable. Just run regular electrical wire and it will be ran very stealthy once it gets done I will be posting picts of it.

Re: Al's 71C10 Rebuild
ok cool , thanks for the update. I am thinking of autometers as well, because it will be easier than trying to rewire for the original. let me know if you find any deals on the gauges.
I may bounce some ideas and questions off of you when i start to run the wiring.....

Al, are those common bulbs in your truck (headlights post #495) are something else?
They seem really bright!

Re: Al's 71C10 Rebuild
Travis actually yes, my son made the deal..checkout this thread I posted about it. However I am actively looking for something I just have not found something that I have to have. Thread: http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...d.php?t=399782 Nate, they are nothing special I think they are sylvania brand if I remember correctly. Remember the wiring on my truck was completely redone maybe is because of that and the grounds are really good. I dont know...

Re: Al's 71C10 Rebuild
not much to sort of speak of. I am ready to order some stuff to upgrade what I already have, but been so busy with work and family that I have not pulled the trigger as I know how I am desperate to finish and not having the leisure time I need I keep.

Re: Al's 71C10 Rebuild
Well there is a monthly cruise tonight in south miami it happens on the first saturday of every month. I am still debating if I should go or not well just in case I decided to wipe down my truck just in case. Main reason is because it has poured every single afternoon this week so far and my truck does not like the rain neither do I since I will have to clean the under carriage . Well I had my little 21 month old son help me so
I just had to post a pict or two to show what the engine bay looks like and my little helper....
