Re: Cubber's Build Thread

I picked up a driveshaft i was planning to use today, and it is the same length as the one I have, so I guess I'll have to find one somewhere. I would think that one from a v8 truck with a turbo 350 will fit, but I wonder what years? Or if there are any other vehicles that might work.

Re: Cubber's Build Thread

I've got pics! Yes that is Chuck in the fender well! As you can see in the bed we put the battery and compressor relays in an old tool box Matt had on a piece of sub floor until he picks out some bed wood. The tool box Idea was cool I think it looks good!

Re: Cubber's Build Thread

Man, I went to bed early last night, and just caught the vid this morning. It made putting water taps in in this cold weather feel a little better! I couldn't have any of this without you guys from the board, especially Rus, Chuck, Jeff, and the rest of the Mid Tn crew. Its amazing how people I didn't even know before a few months ago are like family now, heck, y'all ARE family. Thanks everyone. Lol I guess hearing that thing run brought a tear to my eye, and when I saw our reflections in that air tank I just got emotional.

Here's a little more love for your truck! I'll have to get fitting reducers to attach the air lines to the gauges but I think its gonna turn out ok!

I knew there were some pieces in there that screwed onto the guages, but i never checked for fitment. Which part is too big?

Re: Cubber's Build Thread

Driveshaft is on it's way to be made to work or replaced!! It's good to have friends. Started the truck again today, belt still squeals, lol. I had somebody tell me it may be because its too narrow for the new pulleys. I will check it out later. What do y'all think?

Re: Cubber's Build Thread

Those pieces you're talking about. The inlet on the gauges are a smaller diameter. No worries though I think I have the right ones I just need to take a trip the old storage unit! lol
