Re: Daverods 52

Got my 700r4 back from transmission place. Still need a dip stick,TV cable and a switch for the lock up. Cooper said he would sell some of his demon seed to help pay for the transmission. Such a good dog.

Re: Daverods 52

They don't have the demon seed though. Most the time he just wastes it, but every once in awhile bang$$$$. Stuff is like white gold. That white rat might have some but I don't think so. He's got that limp wrist look to him. I'm thinking his seed is at the dump.

Re: Daverods 52

Picked up a EZ harness from ebay. Went with Scotts under dash mount, booster, MC and valve. Only cost about a bill more than the frame mounted kind. I think it will save me a lot of headaches.

Re: Daverods 52

I used the EZ Wire kit for pickups, found it very easy to install.. just follow the directions, One wire at a time, take your time, and solder all connections and cover with shrink tubing. Makes it almost bullet proof..

I went with the firewall mounting booster and have been very happy with it. Felt that there wasn't enough room under the dash and wanted to get it up from the frame...

Ordered my conversion from IC Industrial Chassic in AZ, Steve great guy to work with and really into trucks.. Also got a kit to put a 95 Dodge Dakota front end under my truck without cutting the frame. 12" disk brakes, power rack and pinon stearing, and A arms. If I ever need parts just go to the dodge dealer and order.

Did you look inside the cab? I'll bet I have one in there. Or in the bed of my 64.

Re: Daverods 52

Slick! Question, how do you add more/check brake fluid after you get everything back on the dash?

A big hypo? They make remote reservors. I don't really know. yet. I bet you could do it through the glove box. How often do you really have to fill it anyways.

Re: Daverods 52

Daverod, I had a few questions for you if you don't mind. I know you used jeff's design for your body mounts, but Iwas wondering how well they worked for you. The Question I have is do they let you lay the truck out. I want the running boards on my truck to lay flat on the ground. I can make my s10 frame lay out pretty easily, but was wondering if the running boards are at least level with the frame using jeff's mounts, or possibly lower. Build is looking good man!

My running boards are about 1/2"above the ground when my frame is on the ground. Check the numbers on the pieces when you cut the pieces out one of them was wrong I had to recut it. Back cap should be 4x4.
