Wow, you're brave to post something like that and then tell us you're not going to post pictures until tomorrow

Re: Thelonerifes 72 stepper

It still has a rake but not as bad now. Since I got 215s on the front its a little lower. 27'' in front and 29'' in rear. I put new shoes on the super. I went back to stock with hubcaps and whitewalls. I like the look more now.

Re: Thelonerifes 72 stepper

I also put this gasket on the water neck and so far its dry.

Trai I got it off Ebay for a total of 55.00. I think I should have gotten the super track bar. But it feels good right now. We''ll see.

Re: Thelonerifes 72 stepper

Thanks a lot for the tip Geoff. I'm gonna get some extras to keep on hand. So far its doing great.

I cut my bumpstops off about an inch or so I'll have more travel too.

things to do now,
-front alignment
-exhaust
-change turn signal cam
-possibly do the rear shock relocators
-super track bar maybe.24''er seems to work okay right now

I got the front aligned today. So maybe my new tires won't wear out.

Re: Thelonerifes 72 stepper

What are the width of the wheels in the rear? 10's or 8's?

Re: Thelonerifes 72 stepper

I've got 8's in the rear. 6 or 6.5's in the front. I've heard the fronts are van ralleys. all kinds at pull a part.

Re: Thelonerifes 72 stepper

I would drive the stepper if I had the exhaust done. It hangs down too low since I lowered the rear. I would drive the super but it doesn't have a good stereo and would cost more in gas. So I'll probably load up the Cavalier and bring it.

Thanks Chuck. Makes me think the 10's I have in the rear are gonna be way too big for me.

Re: Thelonerifes 72 stepper

Trai, depending on the back spacing, I think they would rub if they had the same as stock 8's.

Brian, I also have a pool table to redo too. among other things.

Pretty sure the backspacing is exactly the same as the 8's. Almost positive.

I got the topper painted. I still have to fix the latch and rods for the door; before and after.

Re: Thelonerifes 72 stepper

I've decided to not go big block so I posted it for sale in the parts section. I took the camper shell off. I only put it on to haul a console stereo that I bought from methodtomymadness. Good thing too because it rained good on the way back.

Re: Thelonerifes 72 stepper

I know it takes away from the looks of the truck but I need to keep things dry sometimes. I won't leave it on all the time. Only when I need it.
