Re: Dutch 1955 build

That back tire looks like two normal tires standing side by side. Hard to imagine actually doing a burnout with those!

You truck is beautiful, outstanding workmanship. It looks like one of your transmission pan bolts is loose, you don't want a leak in that nice garage.

Sweet build. I am working on a '57. Love some of your ideas. Can you tell me where you found the trim for the back window? I love the color. I would love to paint mine black but I do not trust anyone around here to do the body work and I know it has to be flawless for black. Again, awesome build!

Did you get the chrome bead lock, or is it chrome trim? Also did you get the windshield trim from CP too? Does is snap on the rubber? Thanks.

Re: Dutch 1955 build

Without a doubt, one of the best builds I've seen here. Great job! Sure would like to know what rear end you're running (narrowed?), also what size wheels and tires? Keep up the inspiration!

Is it the same tire that is pictured earlier in the build? It looks like it may be a 335/30/18

Re: Dutch 1955 build

got more done on the exhaust today
figured out all the bends and it ends nicely up at the exhaust tips

only need to fab some hangers behind the mufflers and then remove it again
and paint it all black
