Re: Newbie with a 65 Chevy
dwcardfan,
Thanks for taking the time to share. This site is a wealth of info due to the generosity of folks like you. It is even more motivating for me seeing someone in my own backyard with such a great build going on. I hope to begin mine in the spring and no doubt will reference yours often. Thanks and great job. |

Re: Newbie with a 65 Chevy
Well I got a little shop time today. Tackled the hood again. Maybe this time it will be straight enough. Sanded the filler down and sprayed some more primer. Wet sand and paint tomorrow.

The drivers side seat had a rip in it. The console is being built. Maybe get it back in a couple of weeks.

It's not looking like it. I still have the hood to finish and then tackle the bed.

Re: Newbie with a 65 Chevy
Finally got the hood ready. It seems like an eternity since I started on it. Anyway here is a pic of the under side. Maybe tomorrow I can shoot the top.

Re: Newbie with a 65 Chevy
Still not sure. I work at a power plant and we are having a shutdown starting that Friday night. The shutdown only lasts for 10 days and a lot of work has to get done. I am suppose to be off that Saturday and go back to work Sunday night. I hope to be there.
