4th was out in NE.
Last one my buddy Karl showed up at my house in a 70 he just bought.
Ha... That's my '68 and I was playing soccer. We were probably playing against each other. What is your team name? I saw the 'burb in front of me. Really cool ride. Yours has nice paint... mine, not so much.

Thank you! Your paint is fine. I like those gold trucks when they get faded like yours is.
I don't remember which team I was playing for that day (4 teams). Which division are you in?

We are in 3A or 3B. Can't remember which is second from the bottom but that's what we are in this season. We were up one division last season but got dropped down.

As for paint, the PO had removed the side tanks and just found some rattle can paint that was close, so some of it is original patina, some not. The doors are are green doors from a 72 I think, also rattle canned. I just did a motor swap this past winter and I'm still chasing a lot of gremlins.

I see from your signature you also have an Alfa. I'm a big Alfa fan too. Which model? GTV6? That's a dream car for me.

Re: Trucks in the Wild

Sounds like your making good progress. I got me some of them gremlins too!
My Alfa is just a Graduate. I have always liked GTV6's ever since I saw one them as a police car racing through the streets of Rome with the lights flashing and the Euro cop siren blasting.

I'm tossing this one in to get that never ending debate started again! Saw this today. Thought the painted bumper was different.

Rolled out of the car wash near my house the other day and this sweetie was sitting on the street. Waited 10 mins to talk with owner but he/she never showed and I had to go. All original 67 CST pulling a trailer no less..

Oh the humility!! Spending your senior years being drug around behind a Ford.
I actually talked to the owner of the Ford. Nice guy with a pretty clean truck.

Saw this one getting a touch up on the paint at the neighborhood body shop. (Nice folks who also sell vintage Chevy parts)

Re: Trucks in the Wild

I know it is the wrong year. I saw it at Janzen Beach on my way to the box wood store. I would have liked to get a closer look but the German Sheppard inside was taking his duties seriously and I wasn't very confident that the back side window was going to keep him contained.

I’m glad you posted this... because I’ve been looking for an opportunity to post this truck I saw in Lawrence a few months ago.
