went to a carshow today....pretty big turnout, but not many trucks .....just wish I had more time to clean mine!

soo what u did was "shaved" the head of the bolt like what most do on bumpers for the bed??

yeah...just don't have the time to pull the motor....and I welded the inside too!...I think it will be plenty strong when I get the outside plated with 1/4"...I'm off to go do some more...

plated the outside of the "z" with 1/4" flat steel and welded it up. cut the front of the frame a little different cause I didn't want to mess with the swaybar mounts....

made a new tranny crossmember and now it lays frame! .....still have to bolt it in and weld up the hole in the floor....

the "Z" took 8hrs friday and about 10 today...took my time and tried to do things right!...still have a few more little things to do....

I think thats next....and cup my lowers, and get some shocks on the back, they're keeping me up...It did go pretty smooth, great results, and FREE!
