Re: Dutch 1955 build
made some ss fender support brackets for the rear fenders
and got them on the left fender. these are for the other side , still to be cut to lenght when the fender is installed. also got the center console lid in place and added some protection to the starter wiring |

Re: Dutch 1955 build
Good is one word. So is awesome, fantastic, and spectacular. This one reminds me of one of my favorite tri five trucks ever...the black 57 that Ironworks Speed and Custom built. What makes that more of a compliment than many realize is that that truck was built by a high end shop as a showcase piece. That level being obtained by a couple guys in a garage is just mind blowing. Once again, really really nice.
Oh, and I love my grafted in 48 Furd taillights but now wished I had the vette tails to match my vette suspension, darn it all...

Re: Dutch 1955 build
Wow OKGMC4 thanks for the compliment but that truck you refer to is just way above from what i am doing here.
well after waiting 2.5 weeks for the tires to arrive they came in yesterday. and just put them on today with 4 wheels and tires it is a lot easier to move it around. so we rolled it back to the workshop and on the 4 post lift also bend some lines for the transmission cooler |

Re: Dutch 1955 build
That back tire looks like two normal tires standing side by side. Hard to imagine actually doing a burnout with those!

Re: Dutch 1955 build
You truck is beautiful, outstanding workmanship. It looks like one of your transmission pan bolts is loose, you don't want a leak in that nice garage.
